How to Register for Classes

First and foremost, it is extremely important that you take your time and thoroughly go over your registration forms before you check out.

When you open a class's information page, there will be a button at the very bottom that will take you to register for that class.

CHOOSING A TIME

On the registration page, you will select a time available or choose the asynchronous option (formerly “self-paced”) if applicable. Some classes are not offering the asynchronous option due to the nature of the course work.

Classes unavailable for asynchronous study are:

    • Latin 1
    • Latin 2
    • The Fundamentals of the English Language
    • Latin Foundations

Classical Greek 1 will be available asynchronous, but only with the permission of Dr. Anne Phillips ([email protected]). Regardless, families signing up for Classical Greek 1 will choose the live option at registration. After permission has been granted, your information will be changed in our system.

The website will not allow you to enroll in a particular time slot if it is at full capacity. If you are able to select a time without an error message, you are on your way to claiming a spot.

Some live sections may be full. A link to fill out a waitlist form will be available if this is the case. Please note that you can sign up for an asynchronous spot and still remain on the live waitlist. We can't make any guarantees regarding live spots, but there are no limits on the asynchronous options.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

The time to select the payment plan option takes place at the top of the registration form - NOT at the checkout page.

You can either choose to pay the tuition in its entirety (including a non-refundable $95.00 deposit per student), pay the deposit per student immediately with the remainder due on June 1st, or to pay the deposit per student immediately with the remainder (including a $25.00 service fee) spread over three payments due June 1st, July 1st, and August 1st. Spots in live classes are only fully secured after at least the $95.00 non-refundable deposit per student has been paid.

FILLING OUT THE FORM

After selecting your payment option, you will enter your personal information as well as that of your student(s). If you are signing yourself up for the class as a student, please enter your information in both the parent and student boxes. Whatever information is entered in the parent box will be the information we use to contact a family.

SIBLING DISCOUNT

Please take note of how to register siblings as part of the sibling discount. There is a separate page linked at the top of the form that will let you add a sibling as part of the sibling discount. Please do not increase the order quantity to add your sibling student. This will charge you that many times the full price of tuition.

Our "Sibling Discount" allows for siblings or even a student's parent to qualify for a discount if they are willing to share a device to stream the live classes together. Tuition for the first student is full price, but each additional student sharing a device to watch the class receives a 50% discount. Once you have entered your information and your student’s, you will be asked if you would like to add any additional students to this class as part of the sibling discount. If not applicable, you will continue with the form. If you need to add siblings for the class, click “Yes,” and it will add slots to include those students’ names. Please make sure to fill out the separate form for discounted siblings that is provided on the form. You can find the link for the sibling checkout page at the top of the registration form.

If you need to register additional siblings for the class not using the Sibling Discount, you will need to start a new registration form after completing the initial one.

BUNDLE DISCOUNT

We also offer a bundle discount with some of our literature and history classes in the same subject when they are purchased together. This bundle takes $50 off your total price. These classes must be purchased at the same time or the discount will not take effect.

    • Ancient Literature and History

    • Medieval and Renaissance Literature and History

    • Early Modern Literature and History

    • Later Modern Literature and History

FINAL STEPS

Please take the time to read the “Withdrawal/Refund/Late Payment Policy.” It contains important information you may need to refer back to in the future. It will be in the registration form with a box you must check that states you have read it entirely.

Once you have completed this page, the registration form will be added to your cart. You can either check out from your cart or go to another class's page to add another registration request to your cart. Your student's spot in each class will not be guaranteed until at least the deposit payment per student has been accepted. An order marked "Completed" under the "Orders" tab in your account is indication of a successful registration.

We have been working hard on the back end to make registration a smooth process. That being said, there may be a few bugs to work out that we have not anticipated or slightly slower loading times during the initial opening of registration. We ask for your patience if you experience any issues. Rest assured we will get you sorted out as soon as possible to complete your registration request.

Please reach out to our coordinator, Atlee, at [email protected] if you have any further questions about registration that have not been answered here.
